Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience serving school-age children and adolescents
  • Working knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Adaptable and collaborative team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support holistic student success
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy and consult with teachers and families
  • Maintain compliance with documentation, timelines, and state/national regulations
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusion-focused school environment
