Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school settings and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adapt to diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP procedures and related legal requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate progress notes, reports, and related compliance documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide support initiatives
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies and support resources
