Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA, or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and customize IEP goals based on assessment data and student needs
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions and monitor progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom integration
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
