A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for a professional with experience in pediatric and school settings. This role is focused on a preschool caseload, providing critical speech and language support to young children in a school environment based in South Paris, ME. This travel assignment offers the chance to work within various educational settings, expanding professional skills while making a positive impact on students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool students
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to support speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
- Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Maine is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically in school or preschool settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse educational environment
