Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP licensure or eligibility for state licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school setting a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct timely assessments and re-evaluations to identify needs and measure progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective therapy goals and strategies
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of interventions and student progress
  • Participate in IEP and related student support meetings
  • Engage students with creative and adaptive approaches to foster active participation and positive outcomes
