Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Indiana SLP license and DOE certification
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly desired
- Commitment to fostering growth and supporting individualized student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for Early Childhood/Pre-K students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain accurate documentation
- Oversee, guide, and support the work of an SLPA in delivering therapy services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals
- Monitor student progress, participate in meetings, and adjust plans as needed
- Deliver therapy using evidence-based practices in an inclusive school environment
