Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Indiana SLP license and DOE certification
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly desired
  • Commitment to fostering growth and supporting individualized student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy for Early Childhood/Pre-K students
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Oversee, guide, and support the work of an SLPA in delivering therapy services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals
  • Monitor student progress, participate in meetings, and adjust plans as needed
  • Deliver therapy using evidence-based practices in an inclusive school environment
