In this PreK setting with a focus on ASD, youll work closely with a small, supportive group of 6-8 students. The school day runs smoothly from 7:45am to 1:30pm, offering you structured time to collaborate with educators, explore innovative therapies, and expand your clinical expertise. Each week, youll immerse yourself in diverse workplace practices, broadening your understanding of different leadership approaches and strengthening your professional portfolio.
Desired Skills & Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Massachusetts
- Experience with pediatric and school-based settings
- Strong expertise supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly PreK
- Exceptional communication, adaptability, and collaborative spirit
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech therapy for PreK students
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Collaborate with special education professionals and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and compassionate learning environment
