Key Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Arizona Educator Certification
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in schools or working with PreK-8th grade preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions onsite, adapting methods to suit each childs needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers
- Maintain comprehensive documentation aligned with school and district standards
- Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and families, fostering a positive learning environment for every child
