A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve school-age children in Soledad, CA through a travel assignment. This role focuses on providing specialized support within school settings, working with students to improve communication skills, speech development, and language abilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current California SLP license required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in schools
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus
- Ability to manage caseloads of 45-50 students
- Skills in assessment, intervention, and progress reporting
- Familiarity with working under supervision from paraprofessionals or related supports
Location and Schedule:
- Assignment based in Soledad, California
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, five days a week
- Work across multiple school sites within the district as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to children ages typical of school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
- Participate in remote interviews and complete district onboarding, including fingerprint clearance
