A full-time, contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve in a California school setting located in Soledad. This role offers a rewarding chance to support a diverse caseload of pediatric students and contribute to their communication development within the school environment.
Key Details:
- Position Type: Contract
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 45-50 students spanning multiple age groups
- Number of Schools Assigned: 5
- Start Date: April 1, 2026
- Supervision: Support available through paraprofessionals and related staff as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License required
- Experience working in pediatric settings, preferably school-based
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly preferred, with credentials such as SLP-CCC considered a plus
- Strong skills in pediatric speech therapy, including experience in diverse school environments
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders among school-age children
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in remote panel interviews as part of the hiring process
