Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school-based K12 setting. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders that impact academic performance and social interaction. This role involves collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of approximately 3035 students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades K12
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and special education teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Use evidence-based practices and assistive technology as appropriate
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Manage a caseload of approximately 3035 students effectively while ensuring individualized support
- Promote student engagement, communication confidence, and positive participation
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and/or Department of Education certification
- CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a 3035 student caseload effectively
