Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid or eligible for Alaska state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Open to travel professionals seeking adventure and professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans to support students speech and language goals
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop meaningful, achievable IEP goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult with staff to support student learning
- Maintain accurate records of progress and document services provided in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Advocate for students communication needs and provide resources or training as needed
