Make a meaningful impact in the Chattanooga area by supporting students during the upcoming school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers the opportunity to work across various campuses, with a focus on providing high-quality speech-language services to elementary-aged students. Key Qualifications:
- Current and active SLP license required
- Active DOE certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to complete required fingerprints and credentialing processes in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to students in line with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet all compliance requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed
- Manage caseloads that may vary based on school assignments; traditional focus is elementary ages
