Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving schools in the beautiful Chattanooga area. Were seeking two passionate SLPs to support students communication needs in a dynamic, supportive educational environment.

This full-time contract position runs from August 5, 2026, through May 19, 2027, with assignments determined closer to the start date. Youll play a key role in fostering students speech and language development within a collaborative team while enjoying the flexibility and rewards that come with a school-based contract.

What Youll Bring:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Valid Department of Education Certification as an SLP
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
  • Willingness to complete fingerprinting and credentialing promptly
  • Commitment to working with elementary-aged students (caseload details to be confirmed)
  • Dedication to providing individualized and group therapy, progress tracking, and IEP participation

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled speech and language therapy services to students based on IEP goals and district needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth
  • Adapt strategies to diverse caseloads and learning abilities
  • Proactively participate in staff meetings, trainings, and necessary compliance tasks
  • Maintain up-to-date records and follow district policies throughout your contract
