Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. Multiple school locations offer you variety and the chance to impact students across K-12 settings. This role begins in August 2026 and extends through June 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Bring your expertise as an onsite SLP and play an essential role supporting students communication, language, and learning needs throughout the school year.
What youll bring:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Maryland Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working in-person with diverse student populations
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a varied caseload of K-12 students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster students growth
- Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all students
