Discover a rewarding contract opportunity to impact students lives as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting a collaborative school team near Smithville, MO. In this part-time role, you will have the chance to work closely with students, families, and school staff, contributing your passion for pediatric care in a nurturing educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and active Missouri Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience in school settings is a plus but not mandatory
- Interest in helping students thrive academically and personally in a school-based setting
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with CCC credentials
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with teletherapy modalities and traditional face-to-face interactions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy to a small caseload of 915 students at a single school site
- Collaborate with and support a full-time on-site SLP, including participating in team meetings
- Plan and implement interventions that foster communication development and social participation
- Maintain documentation and compliance with all district and state requirements
- Benefit from paid indirect time and receive consistent supervision and mentorship
- Commitment is 15 hours per week across 2 days, from August 11, 2026, through May 17, 2027
