Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Smith River, CA, offering a rewarding opportunity to support student communication and learning within a school setting. This contract role involves working closely with students to provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and participate actively in IEP meetings and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct comprehensive testing and assessments to evaluate speech and language development
- Write and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings to support student progress and accommodations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CA SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation
