Make a meaningful impact supporting students communication needs working as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment in the Sitka, AK area. Desired Qualifications:

• Holds a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for the state of Alaska
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred but not always required
• School-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each students unique needs
• Provide consultative support to educators and parents on strategies for in-classroom communication support
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities when available
