Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid SLP license (or eligibility) for the state
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and IEP development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy sessions (individual and group) to address speech-language disorders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families, to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for student success
• Educate and support teachers and caregivers on strategies to promote language development
• Remain current with best practices, attending professional development as needed
