This full-time contract position is based onsite, offering 37.5 hours each week where youll make a direct and lasting impact on students communication skills and overall academic success.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid South Carolina SLP License is required
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and seasoned SLPs
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for evaluation and intervention
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Flexibility and professionalism in adapting to a school environment
In this role, you will:
- Provide assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students with communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized student goals
- Develop and implement treatment plans targeting speech, language, articulation, fluency, and other needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student planning
- Offer guidance and education to parents and staff regarding speech and language development
