Step into a rewarding opportunity working with elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in the Simpsonville, SC area. Youll inspire growth and communication skills in a supportive school environment, working onsite with a manageable caseload of 45 elementary students.
Utilize your expertise to assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based interventions for a variety of speech and language needs. Whether you are fully certified (SLP-CCC) or gaining valuable experience during your Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), youll find mentorship and access to professional development to support your clinical journey.
What were looking for:
- South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certification (SLP-CCC) welcomed, as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY candidates)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with pediatric and school-based populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and providing therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Developing individualized treatment plans and communicating progress
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support each students success
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with district and licensure requirements
