Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This onsite position offers a contract engagement with a full-time schedule of 35-40 hours per week, serving a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in elementary-aged children.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with school and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License is required.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings is highly desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
