Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Solid clinical background in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy to students individually or in groups according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and parent communications
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations for student support
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment where each childs voice is valued
