Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY also considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to each students needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions individually or in small groups
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to support academic achievement and social-emotional well-being
- Provide consultation and resources to school staff for integrating communication strategies in the classroom
