Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students as a speech-language pathologist in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers a consistent part-time schedule of 15 hours per week for the 2026-2027 academic year, located near Simi Valley, CA. Work closely with a dedicated team of educators to provide speech and language services tailored to a diverse student community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current California SLP Licensure required
  • CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification required
  • Open to clinical fellows (CFY) as well as SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Background in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations, especially at the elementary level, is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
