Job Description

A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide coverage for a leave during the 2026 fall semester, serving a welcoming school community. Youll work alongside a team of supportive professionals with manageable caseloads and the resources you need to succeed.

Your assignment will run from August 2026 through November/December 2026, offering consistent weekday hours (30 hours per week, Monday through Friday). The role centers on providing services at a single campus, with SLPA colleagues available for collaboration and assistance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California licensure as either an SLP (CCC preferred) or SLPA
  • Experience in educational or pediatric settings, either schools or healthcare
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate within a team environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide individualized and group therapy to students identified with speech-language needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Document progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
  • Collaborate with other SLPAs and school personnel to support student learning and growth
  • Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
