Job Description
A school-based contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students during the 2025-2026 school year. This position requires providing specialized speech and language services to children within a school setting in Simi Valley, CA, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school regulations
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in educational environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
