Job Description

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a school setting supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time contract position involves working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week, delivering therapy that addresses various communication disorders and developmental challenges.

Location: Moorpark, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students to identify communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies.
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License required.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
  • Familiarity with pediatric populations and teletherapy methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and educators.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and work independently as well as part of a team.
