Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
  • Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication challenges
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy to students, adjusting strategies based on progress and needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including documentation of services and reporting on student outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing expertise to help drive student success
  • Educate teachers and family members about strategies and accommodations to support students in classroom and home environments
  • Stay current with best practices, therapies, and continuing education in pediatric speech-language pathology
