Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP for schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement effective IEP goals
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups tailored to each students needs
- Maintain clear documentation and timely progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate and empower parents and staff through resources and best practices
