Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly desired
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide therapy in group and one-on-one settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students ages preschool through high school
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to address a range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each students progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for development and implementation of student goals
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Provide consultative support and in-service presentations as needed to school staff
