Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Louisiana
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Skilled in developing and delivering speech and language therapy services
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students communication abilities
  • Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in group sessions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families on student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and support general education efforts for inclusive practices
