Job Description

This position is ideal for both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows who are ready to be flexible in a school-based environment. The role is primarily onsite, with high potential for itinerant assignments. Candidates should feel comfortable traveling between school sites and adapting to changing caseloads and assignments throughout the semester.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Valid California SLP license (CCC preferred; open to SLPAs and Clinical Fellows with on-site supervision)
  • School-based SLP experience, with familiarity in mild to moderate caseloads (some severe cases possible)
  • Knowledge of California school procedures and SEIS highly preferred
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel to multiple locations within the county
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for supporting students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery (teletherapy is unavailable for this role)

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment and intervention services to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation
  • Supervise SLPAs or Clinical Fellows as appropriate
