Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting near Indianapolis, IN. This onsite position offers the chance to practice impactful speech-language services for the 20262027 academic year, working closely with dedicated professionals while making a difference for students.

In this role, you'll focus on conducting comprehensive evaluations for a caseload of approximately 5070 students. You'll collaborate with another skilled SLP, primarily supporting nonverbal life skills students, ensuring that each child receives individualized, high-quality care and assessment. This position allows for both independent initiative and strong teamwork with school staff.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Prior experience in school-based settings or relevant pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong background in speech-language evaluation, including standardized and informal assessments.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to serving diverse student needs and contributing to a positive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language evaluation services for students, focusing on accurate assessment and recommendations.
  • Work in close partnership with another SLP and special education staff to support nonverbal life skills students.
  • Maintain organized documentation in line with school and state requirements.
  • Participate in meetings related to student progress and planning.
  • Offer guidance and expertise on speech-language development as part of a collaborative school team.
