Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Kansas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
  • Experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads
  • Knowledge of teletherapy platforms beneficial
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Previous experience with middle and high school populations valued

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide both direct and consultative/indirect services to a caseload of around 30 students
  • Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions where applicable
  • Deliver targeted interventions to enhance communication and academic achievement
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
