A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across a variety of grade levels and age groups in a school setting located in Sequim, WA. This contract position offers the chance to provide essential speech and language services to pediatric and school-age populations, including early childhood and adolescents.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatric settings
- Expertise working with students from Pre-Kindergarten through High School (including Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12)
- Familiarity with early childhood speech and language development and intervention strategies
- Ability to deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs
- Strong communication skills collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting student progress through evidence-based practices
Location:
- Sequim, Washington
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed to maximize outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student learning and development
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and applicable regulations
