Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting children and adolescents as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role concentrates on providing high-quality speech and language services to students across a diverse age range, including Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school levels. Working in an educational setting, you will make a genuine difference in communication development and academic success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or educational contexts
- Comfortable managing caseloads across Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school grades
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services, both one-on-one and in group formats
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document interventions, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Deliver support and education to staff and parents regarding communication disorders
