Step into a rewarding contract role serving K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the full school year in a vibrant district near Sequim, WA. Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLP license and ESA certification are required
- Demonstrated skills in pediatric speech and language evaluation and intervention
- Experience serving school-aged students, from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Preferred experience or familiarity with teletherapy services
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials welcomed
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in a school-based setting
- Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
- Maintain all required documentation and progress notes in accordance with district and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
- Adapt therapy techniques for classroom, teletherapy, and small-group environments
