Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License and completion of ASHA Clinical Certification (CCC)
  • Strong interest in working within a school setting; prior schools-based experience is a plus but not required
  • Consideration given to both seasoned clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFY) passionate about pediatric populations
  • Commitment to collaborative teamwork and student-centered care
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders in K12 students
  • Develop individualized therapy goals based on student needs and educational plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
  • Implement therapy via onsite and/or teletherapy modalities, as needed
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of all services and progress
  • Serve as an educational resource regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies

This role spans 37.5 hours per week over five days, placing you at the heart of student support for an entire academic year.
