A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Semmes, AL, serving two schools within the Mobile County Public Schools district, including Forrest Hill Elementary and nearby private schools. This on-site contract position runs from March 2025 through May 29, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek. The role focuses on providing speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to K12 students across two schools.
- Collaborate with school staff to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and licensing requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and educators.
Qualifications:
- Must hold Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology.
- Licensed and registered with the Alabama Board of Speech Examiners.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with services for diverse student populations from K through 12th grade.
- Ability to complete internal prescreen interviews, with availability during 9-11 a.m. or 2-3 p.m. Eastern time as needed.
