Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before starting)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Prior experience working in schools, with knowledge of IEPs and special education processes, highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Able to adapt engagement methods for diverse student needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using standardized tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic growth
- Complete and maintain accurate progress notes and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the creation of student plans
- Provide support and guidance to educational staff on communication strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and best-practices sharing
