Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnostics of students speech, language, and communication abilities
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that address specific needs
• Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students progress and integrate therapy into their daily learning
• Providing direct speech-language intervention through individual and group sessions
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and required reports
• Participating in IEP meetings and helping guide goals and modifications for students
• Offering resources and strategies to educators and caregivers to enhance communication skills outside of therapy sessions

Desired qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• Ability to thrive in school settings and connect with children and adolescents
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Previous school-based experience is helpful, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
