Youll work collaboratively with staff and families to help students overcome communication barriers and reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Texas licensure required for SLP or SLPA
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP applicants
- Experience with school-based or pediatric populations highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt services to diverse student needs across K-12 settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support students educational goals
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
