Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving local schools as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). This onsite role spans from August through June 2027, offering the chance to make an impact on K-12 students in an engaging and supportive environment. Youll work 37.5 hours per week on a dynamic caseload, providing professional therapy services and collaborating with educators and families to foster student growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Texas licensure for SLP or SLPA
  • SLP-CCC credential (if applying as SLP)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes and effective documentation
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility, organizational skills, and a compassionate approach
  • Ability to adapt interventions to student needs and accommodate diverse learning styles

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in alignment with their IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as required
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
