Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed for the 2026/2027 school year to provide specialized speech and language services in an educational setting located in Sedro Woolley, WA. This contract position offers a part-time schedule with approximately 0.4 full-time equivalent hours, making it well-suited for professionals seeking a balance in their workload.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric school-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Provide teletherapy services when applicable to enhance accessibility.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility.
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
