A contract opportunity is available near Sedro Woolley, WA for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time (0.4 FTE) need is tailored for professionals passionate about supporting students in their communication and language development, whether onsite or virtually through teletherapy.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Washington State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
- Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is strongly desired
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms considered a plus
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Provide both direct and consultative services, accommodating in-person or teletherapy formats
- Document assessments, progress, and compliance according to district and state standards
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
