Make a meaningful impact on students lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This onsite role, beginning in August 2026 and concluding in May 2027, supports K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. Based near Sebring, FL, youll be part of a supportive group of professionals dedicated to helping every student succeed.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure for the state of Florida, or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience within school settings, serving a broad K-12 population, strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development, assessment, and progress monitoring
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention strategies and student-centered therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Provide engaging, targeted speech-language therapy sessions onsite
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation following district and state guidelines
- Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and intervention planning
