This contract opportunity places you onsite at a single school for the full 2026-2027 academic year, August to June, empowering students across K-12 to achieve their communication goals.
Youll enjoy the rewards of working with a manageable caseloadhistorically between 25-30 studentsallowing you to deliver meaningful, individualized interventions. Your ability to connect and collaborate with colleagues, families, and young learners will make a real difference in their academic and social development.
Youll Thrive With:
- A current Maine SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings
- Comfort with onsite (in-person) engagement
- Dedication to maintaining comprehensive records and progress reports
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Assess communication needs and develop tailored therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, special education teams, and families to integrate therapy within the classroom
- Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans
