Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school-based settings
- Familiarity with early childhood through high school (Pre-K to 12th grade)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage caseloads across diverse age groups and needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening, evaluations, and individualized treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals customized to each students unique strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support generalization of skills across settings
- Monitor, document, and report on students' progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Provide consultation and resources for school staff and caregivers
