Key Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State SLP License and ESA required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued but not required
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in K-12 populations
  • Compassionate and patient communicator, adept at collaborating with school staff and families
  • Dedication to evidence-based assessment, therapy, and progress monitoring

Role Highlights:

  • Serve students at either the elementary (average caseload of 42) or secondary (average caseload of 45) level
  • Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and facilitate IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student growth and communication success
  • Maintain comprehensive records and report progress to families and district personnel as needed
  • Commit to consistent, in-person therapy sessions, fostering positive learning environments

This contract position runs from August 31, 2026 to June 17, 2027, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience and make meaningful contributions to students lives during the academic year.
