Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant area near Seattle, WA. This onsite position runs from now until the end of the school year, offering both full-time and part-time scheduling options between Monday and Friday, typically 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, depending on the assigned building. After interviews, you'll be matched with a caseload that best aligns with your specific interestselementary, middle, or high school students. Expect a caseload of approximately 45 or more students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLP license (ESA) required
- Accepting both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with CCC credentials
- Successful OSPI fingerprint background check completed within the last 2 years
- Experience or interest in serving school-aged children across K-12 grade levels
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, including expressive and receptive language, articulation, voice, fluency, and neuromuscular difficulties
- Document evaluation results and clearly connect the impact of communication disorders to educational outcomes
- Collaborate to develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs)
- Prepare treatment plans, offer recommendations for targeted interventions, and work closely with school staff and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided
