Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services in an engaging school environment just outside Seattle, WA. In this full-time, onsite contract position, you will help empower students with developmental disabilities, supporting their communication and classroom success alongside a collaborative IEP team.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of (or eligibility for) a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Washington State
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification required
- Open to Clinical Fellowship (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates
- Background in school-based SLP settings strongly preferred
- Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive learning experiences
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech, language, and communication support services in a school setting
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals in partnership with the IEP team
- Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and families to ensure effective classroom participation for students
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
Additional Details:
- Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) at a single school site
