A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential support for K-12 students on maternity leave coverage and itinerant assignments. This contract position begins mid-October and extends through August 7, 2026. Candidates can consider full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time availability to accommodate various schedules.
This role involves supporting students within school settings in Lackawanna County initially, followed by work with itinerant students in the Dunmore area in the spring. The position requires hands-on, onsite engagement with students and collaboration with educational staff to deliver speech and language services tailored to student needs.
Key Qualifications:
Responsibilities include assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment. The role demands flexibility and adaptability to manage caseloads across different sites while maintaining compliance with educational and clinical guidelines.
This position is not open to telepractice or voice-over-contact (VOC) arrangements and requires consistent onsite presence.
