Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students across multiple schools near Scottsdale, Arizona. This full-time opportunity seeks two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to deliver on-site services for the 2024-2027 school years. Each SLP will work closely with an SLPA to provide impactful interventions to a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona SLP license and fingerprint clearance card (FP card)
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFY) also welcome; supervision provided for CFY candidates
  • Experience in school-based and pediatric SLP settings
  • Proficiency working with diverse populations and caseloads
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site speech-language therapy services for students across two schools (caseloads include pre-K to middle school-aged children)
  • Collaborate effectively with SLPAs, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized intervention plans
  • Engage in regular communication with families, teachers, and administrators to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all state and district requirements
  • Participate in assessment, eligibility determination, and IEP/504 meetings as needed
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive school environment
