Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Therapist supporting K-8th grade students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with the chance to positively impact a diverse caseload of approximately 58 students. Engage with learners across grade levels while collaborating with dedicated educators who share your passion for helping children communicate with confidence.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Valid Department of Education Certificate
Desired Experience:
- Experience providing SLP services in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor interventions for a range of grade levels and needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver direct therapy services for K-8th grade students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school, district, and state guidelines
- Provide support and resources for families and educational staff
