Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting students communication development as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to serve PreK-8th grade students across two welcoming school sites in the Scottsdale area, specializing in preschool evaluations and working closely with children on the autism spectrum. Your bilingual skills will be highly valued as you help bridge communication barriers, making meaningful differences in young lives.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Department of Education Certification for Arizona
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
  • SLP-CCC credential and previous experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with preschool assessments and evidence-based autism interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive preschool speech and language evaluations in both English and Spanish
  • Provide individualized and group therapy for students PreK-8th, including those diagnosed with autism
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Consult with educators and parents to facilitate strategies that support diverse learners
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Navigate between two local school sites, engaging with a supportive multidisciplinary team
